Cancer Survivorship Program
A cancer survivor is an individual with a particular type of cancer, who is still living. But cancer survivorship is not just surviving cancer, there is more to it. Starting from the time of diagnosis up until post-treatment, more and more people are surviving cancer today. This is possible due to advancements in detection, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up in cancer care.
However, cancer survivorship is complex and requires a multidisciplinary approach based on the type of cancer, treatment received and possible side effects.
